Hi everyone!

My name is Ivy Hope. My mom is a big gardener, a cute one at that, and she makes sure that anyone can get involved in every step of growing our gardens or even just sharing in the harvests. She really is very cute. And sassy. So this is her website- tadah! I am just the assistant to the website manager.

My family has talked about keeping bees before, but recently I got this awesome gift from a friend, an adorable pair of earrings THAT WERE BEES. I love them. And right before that I borrowed a book where the main character cared for his grandfather’s bees. And in an art class, a friend of mine finished a painting of a bee in front of honey comb, and it was beautiful. So lately we have been very inspired by bees. The least we could do now is learn how we can better support them naturally, and hopefully get a hive! Maybe this year, maybe next, but this will be where our progress is documented.

As Wisconsin locals, we still struggle through winter, always looking forward to spring. It’s beautiful here, but the cold sucks. That’s one drawback to getting bees- will they survive the winters, even with our help?
